Due to the polypropylene case and the stainless steel clamps and eyebolts that connect the cap can withstand psi pressure bursts up to 300 psi for short durations. It's normal working service capacity is up to 125 psi exceeding the 80 psi of most Big Blue style housings.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eBig Bubba systems use 2\" pipe fittings and large diameter center tubes for their filter cartridges to minimize pressure drops.
